The Eastern Arizona College basketball teams were scheduled to take on league leading Cochise College tonight but a water leak in the gym changed that.
A pipe in the second level busted causing the damage.
The game has been rescheduled for Thursday night at Thatcher High School. The women will play at 5:30pm and the men at 7:30pm.
As of 4:00pm today, the clean up crews were still in the gym. The ceiling in the lobby had been removed and there were multiple holes cut in the gym floor. There is no timetable on when or if the the teams will be able to play in the gym this season.
All events scheduled in the gym are cancelled until further notice.
