Virtual classes to help families dealing with Alzheimer’s, dementia

SAFFORD — Graham County Health Department, in conjunction with the Alzheimer’s Association, announced a series of virtual education classes in the month of March.

Classes include:

● Dementia conversations — March 15, 10-11 a.m.

● Ten warning signs of Alzheimer’s — March 17, 4-5 p.m.; March 22, 10-11 a.m.; March 31, 5-6 p.m.

● Understanding Alzheilmer’s and dementia — March 26, 11 a.m. to noon

● Healthy living for your brain and body — March 28, 5-6 p.m.

● Effective communication strategies — March 29, 10-11 a.m.
