UofA seeking Pregnant and Postpartum women to participate in maternal health study

The University of Arizona is conducting a maternal health needs assessment for the Arizona Department of Health Services. Researchers are seeking input from pregnant and postpartum women in Arizona about the need for maternal health care. The goal of the project is to understand things that help and are difficult for women when trying to get prenatal and postpartum care in Arizona.

Eligible women in Graham County are encouraged to participate. You are eligible if you:

  • Are pregnant or gave birth to a baby in the last 3 years
  • Live in Arizona counties other than Pima or Maricopa or
  • Are a Black/African American mother resident in Arizona.

It takes less than 3 minutes to fill the questionnaire and schedule an interview. The interview will be conducted either via Zoom, in-person, or phone depending on preference and there is $20 compensation.
