The #TreadwayFire, 18 miles north of Safford is now 50% contained at 8,400 acres. Crews are still engaged along the north/northeast side improving line after the fire slopped over containment line yesterday. Along the southern side, crews are cold trailing the line checking for any remaining heat. Hot and dry conditions staying in place into next week and windy conditions could challenge firefighters.
