THATCHER — The Arizona Department of Transportation will be conducting maintenance on traffic signal cabinets this week.
On Tuesday, the signals turned off at the intersection of U.S. Highway 70 and Reay Lane in Thatcher, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
On Thursday, work moves to U.S. Highway 191 and Discovery Park Boulevard in Safford, also from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
While work is taking place, law enforcement will direct traffic through the intersections.
Motorists are advised to expect delays and asked to slow down and use caution when traveling through the work areas. Use of an alternate route, if possible, is advised.
