Tommie “Gene” Barnett, a longtime resident of the Gila Valley, returned home to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Thursday afternoon, June 23, 2022, at his residence in Pima, with his beloved wife, Ann, at his side. Gene was 79.
Funeral services for Gene were conducted Monday afternoon, July 11, 2022, at 1:00 p.m., at Vining Funeral Home’s “Chapel of the Valley”. Concluding services followed in the Safford Cemetery.
The family received friends Monday, July 11, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. (noon) until service time at 1:00 p.m., also at the funeral home.
