THATCHER — The Town of Thatcher is asking for the public’s input on whether in-law structures should be allowed in residential areas.

On its social media, the town announced the Planning and Zoning Committee will meet with the Town Council to discuss whether accessory dwelling units should be allowed in single-family residential zones.

No action will be taken at the work session, but the public may offer input.

The work session will take place Tuesday, March 26, starting at 6 p.m., in Council Chambers at Town Hall.

The Planning and Zoning Committee will also hold a formal public hearing on the matter on April 9, to vote on a recommendation to be sent to the Town Council for final action at the Council’s April meeting.
