SAFFORD —Wednesday is a special day at the Safford City-Graham County Library as library staff wishes “May the Fourth be with you” to all patrons.
May 4 is known as “Star Wars” Day, due to when the first film, “A New Hope,” was released — May 4, 1977.
To celebrate, the library will have a Star Wars themed mini golf course running through the children’s section, a chance to put oneself in space with a green-screen video, a 3D printed X-Wing spacecraft and space STEAM activities.
The Safford Library’s May the Fourth be with you event will take place from 4-6 p.m. and participation is free.
