TUCSON, AZ, FEBRUARY 24, 2021 – High School football isn’t over quite yet in Southern Arizona. Many Southern Arizona High School Football programs had their 2020 season cut short or canceled due to COVID-19.
With seniors from those programs in mind, the Arizona Bowl, along with the City of Tucson, local school districts, and the business community have come together to create the Southern Arizona All-Star Football Showcase. This weeklong showcase will take place May 2nd through May 8th, culminating with an All-Star game on May 8th at Tucson High School.
The showcase will bring high school seniors from all over Southern Arizona together for a week of clinics, practice, and one final game.
The week will be led by top High School Coaches and Players in Southern Arizona history. The event is designed to bring another opportunity for the players to come together in statewide camaraderie, and potentially showcase their skills for the next level.
All practices along with the All-Star game will be filmed, catalogued, and made available for participants so that each player and can use the film for recruitment purposes.
