Heavy snowfall around Arizona has forced ADOT to close roads, leaving travelers with few options to get to their destinations. U.S. 60 is closed between Superior and Globe because of 8 inches of snow on the highway. ADOT has closed a number of roadways due to the snow with no estimated time to reopen. People are advised against traveling in northern Arizona during this severe winter storm.
