SAFFORD — The GFWC Woman’s Club of Safford is celebrating women in business.

During its regular meeting Friday, the club is hosting a woman-owned small business showcase.

Local female entrepreneurs who own their own business, or co-own a business with a partner, will be given vendor space to display information about their business, as well have upward of five minutes to tell everyone about how they came to start their business.

“Photographers, if they want to talk about their specials for the holidays coming up. If there’s anybody that has a new-new business and they just want to get out there, it’s a great opportunity. If you’ve got an older business who just likes to see some familiar faces, anyone is welcome,” said Brianna Morris, Woman’s Club president.

The woman-owned small business showcase will take place Friday, Oct. 21, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the GFWC Woman’s Club of Safford, 215 W. Main Street. The public is welcome to attend.
