After initially postponing today’s 1A and 2A State basketball playoffs due to weather, the AIA reversed their decision mid-day and now all the games will go on today and tomorrow. Just not exactly as scheduled.
All of the 1A games will take place Saturday at the Findlay Toyota Center in Prescott Valley. The semi-final games will be at 9am, 10:30am, noon and 1:30pm. Fort Thomas will play The Gregory School in the 1:30pm game. The championship games will be played Saturday evening.
The 2A conference will start play this afternoon. Thatcher will play Scottsdale Christian at 3pm at Greenway High School in Phoenix. The game can be heard live on KATO 1230 AM or by clicking here.
Pima will take on Alchesay at 6pm tonight at the Findlay Toyota Center. That game will be available on the radio and the same link.
The 2A Championship game will be played Saturday at 6pm at Highland High School in Gilbert.
