SAFFORD — February’s new case load of COVID-19 looks very good, especially when compared to the previous three months.
The Graham County Health Department reported 15 new cases Wednesday, with 11 in the 85546 Zip Code and four in the 85543 Zip Code.
Through the first three days of the month, the Gila Valley has seen 26 new cases, an 86 percent drop from the total number of new cases through the first three days of January, a 60 percent drop from the first three days of December and a 57 percent drop from the first three days of November.
February matches the start of October, when there were 26 cases through the first three days.
The new cases bring Graham County’s total since the start of the pandemic to 5,143, with 66 deaths.
The county’s positivity rate is currently at 25.8 percent.
