SAFFORD — The National Weather Service in Tucson has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Southeastern Graham County until 4 p.m.
Locations impacted include Safford, Thatcher, Solomon, Roper Lake State Park, Safford Regional Airport, Central, Swift Trail Junction and Frye Mesa Dam.
At 3:09 p.m., a severe thunderstorm was located over Roper Lake State Park, near Safford, moving northeast at 10 mph. The storm includes 60 mph wind gusts and quarter-size hail.
Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
