Sandra Gail Lunt, a lifelong resident of Thatcher, passed into eternal life Tuesday morning, April 13, 2021, at the Peppi’s House Tucson Medical Center Hospice, following a brief illness. Sandy was 72.
Sandy leaves behind: her husband of 54 years, Dennis; two daughters, Shari and Denise; three sons, Kendall, Brandon and Jason; and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Sandy was predeceased by: her mother and father, Yvonne and Ewart Lee; and a sister, Suzanne.
Funeral services for Sandy were conducted Saturday morning, April 24, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Thatcher Stake Center by Bishop Jay Larson of the Thatcher Third Ward. Concluding services followed in the Pima Cemetery.
The family received friends Friday evening, April 23, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at the Vining Funeral Home and Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Thatcher Stake Center Relief Society Room.
