The City of Safford will be holding a Public Meeting to discuss Right of Way and Temporary Construction Easements for the upcoming 20th Avenue widening project.
The project, funded by the Federal Highway Administration through ADOT, will widen 20th Avenue from Relation Street to Golf Course Road and is slated for construction in 2020.
There are some right of way issues that the City of Safford will need to acquire prior to construction and this meeting will be an opportunity for effected property owners along the route to get information on how this will affect them.
Consultants from Wood Engineering and Consulting Engineering Inc., will be in attendance to discuss this topic and answer any questions the public may have.
This meeting will be held at the City of Safford-Graham County Library, at 808 7th Avenue in the Program Room, Thursday evening, June 7th, beginning at 6:00pm.
