SAFFORD — The City of Safford’s Street Division will be conducting asphalt cutting work Wednesday, Oct. 9.
The following traffic advisories are in place:
20th Avenue Closure
20th Avenue will be closed from Golf Course Road to 26th Street, from approximately 7 a.m. to noon, for asphalt cutting. Detour signs will be in place, and motorists are advised to plan alternate routes during this time.
8th Avenue Traffic Control
Crews will also be working on 8th Avenue near Dorothy Stinson School. While 8th Avenue will remain open, flaggers will be on-site to direct traffic. Drivers are encouraged to use caution and be mindful of students and workers when traveling through the area.
