SAFFORD — Complete details have not yet been released, but Safford Police said two juvenile suspects are in custody in relation to a series of acts of criminal damage last weekend.
According to an e-mail to Gila Valley Central, the juveniles are suspected to have caused damage to Safford Middle School, damaged the shuttle vehicle for the Boys and Girls Club of the Gila Valley, and damaged five vehicles for Great Communities Resource Center (GCRC).
There’s no word yet on if the suspects were involved with criminal damage reported Nov. 6 at the Safford Theatre — which suffered broken glass on its doors separating the theater from the lobby — and a private home on 13th Avenue.
Investigation into the incidents is ongoing.
