SAFFORD — Safford residents in El Dorado Estates should add extra travel time starting Tuesday, Oct. 1.
The city’s Utilities Department will begin upgrading and relocating natural gas lines.
The work will take place on 9th Avenue, from Relation Street to just south of Navajo Lane, as well as on Kimball and Navajo lanes.
The work is expected to continue until April 2025. The city is asking children stay away from the construction zones.
