Duncan Evans Walker, longtime Safford resident, died Thursday morning, March 21, 2024 in an auto accident near Glenwood, New Mexico. He was driving from Santa Fe to Safford to visit family and friends. There was no one in his truck with him. His truck rolled-over once leaving the mountain road.
Walker grew up in Safford and graduated with Honors from Safford High School. He was in the orchestra, the marching band, and both track and cross country.
He attended Northern Arizona State in Flagstaff. Currently he was working in Santa Fe. He was 21 years old.
A Memorial Service will be planned in the coming weeks. His father and mother, Jon and Juliet, and his sister, Jordan, live in Safford.
