SAFFORD — Ruth Powell Elementary School announced the success of its recent fund-raising initiative in collaboration with local vendor Alexa Rhodes and her company, Space Snacks.
The fund-raiser, organized by the Ruth Powell PTO, aimed to support various school programs and activities while providing families with delicious treats.
The partnership with Rhodes and Space Snacks proved to be an inspired choice, as the fund-raiser surpassed all expectations. Through the sale of a variety of freeze-dried candy, the Ruth Powell community rallied together to raise vital funds for the school’s enrichment programs.
“We are absolutely thrilled with the outcome of our fundraiser,” said Corina Pino-Reyes, president of the Ruth Powell PTO. “The support from our families, students, staff and the community has been nothing short of incredible. We are deeply grateful to Alexa Rhodes and Space Snacks for their partnership and for providing such high-quality treats.”
The funds raised through the Space Snacks fund-raiser will directly benefit a range of programs and events organized by the Ruth Powell PTO throughout the school year. From academic enrichment initiatives and extracurricular activities, the contributions will have a lasting and meaningful impact on the entire school community.
Rhodes also expressed her delight at the success of the partnership.
“It’s been an honor to collaborate with Ruth Powell Elementary and the PTO on this fundraiser,” Rhodes said. “Supporting local schools and communities has always been a priority for Space Snacks, and I am thrilled to see the positive outcome of our partnership.”
