SAFFORD — Parents interested in their sons and daughters learning the game of basketball can register their children for the Safford Youth Basketball League.
The program is open to boys and girls in first through fourth grades.
All practices and games will take place in the Safford Middle School gymnasium. Practices will take place Fridays from 4-7 p.m. and games Saturday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The season starts Saturday, Jan. 27 and will run through Saturday, March 2.
Registration is taking place now through Dec. 14 at the Safford City Annex on 8th Avenue, between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Cost is $15 per player.
