According to a press release from the Thatcher Unified School District, Ramon Morales, has been named as new Head Football Coach.
“Thatcher USD is excited to announce that Coach Ramon Morales will be the head football coach for the 2018-19 Thatcher Eagles. Coach Morales has over 30 years of coaching experience at Thatcher USD and we are extremely confident he will continue the proud tradition of Thatcher Eagle Football.”
Morales takes over for Sean Hinton who has won back-to-back 2A State Football Titles. The rest of the coaching staff will stay intact.
When reached via phone while on vacation Thatcher Unified Superintendent, Dr. Kevin Spiller said,” I’m definitely excited that Ramon Morales is available and willing to take the helm, with his experience, he will do a great job.”
