SAFFORD — Those unhappy with the actions of the Trump administration and DOGE will conduct another protest this weekend.
The Safford Peaceful Protest will take place Saturday, April 19, starting at 10 a.m., at the corner of U.S. Highway 70 and 20th Avenue.
Previously, about 50 protestors held placards and engaged with passersby in front of Safford City Hall, as part of the Hands Off protests that took place across the country on April 5.
The protests are in reaction to agency and funding cuts, terminations of federal workers, and deportations of American citizens by the Trump administration and the Department of Government Efficiency.
