SAFFORD — City of Safford and Southeastern Arizona Governments Organization will host an open house on how property and business owners can revitalize the area.
The Property & Business Reuse and Revitalization Program will be highlighted at the city’s next Lunch and Learn Tuesday, May 13, from 11:30-1 p.m., at the Safford City Annex on 8th Avenue.
A federal grant was awarded to Safford and Graham County to promote economic development through improvement of vacant or underused properties — such as those in the Downtown area — preservation of historic sites and adaptive re-use, which includes affordable housing.
Open house starts at 11:30 a.m., presentation at noon, and question and answer period at 12:30 p.m. Lunch will be served.
