SAFFORD — The Gila Valley will see its first LGBTQIA+ Pride month celebration next week.
A Pride Night pot luck will take place Saturday, June 18, from 8 p.m. to midnight, at the Graham County Democratic Party headquarters, 624 S. 5th Ave. in Safford.
“All are welcome for an evening of gaming, movies, music, food, beverages, socializing, networking, and simply having a jolly good time celebrating Pride month,” said Democratic Party Chairman Nick Nordgran-Tellez in announcing the event.
Organizers are also seeking volunteers to help with the event and to begin planning for a bigger Pride event next year.
