SAFFORD — The Pride of Safford Committee is looking for people who make a difference.
The committee is accepting nominees for the Pride of Safford Award, which is presented the fourth Thursday of every month at the City of Safford Annex.
To qualify, an individual, youth or group must participate regularly in volunteer service within the community.
Organizations and businesses can also be nominated for beautification and restoration work that improves the quality of life within the city.
All nominees — persons, groups or businesses — must live, do business within or be located in the city of Safford.
To nominate, send a letter detailing why the person, group, organization or business should receive the award to mruiz@saffordaz.gov.
