THATCHER — The Small Business Development Center at Eastern Arizona College announced that businesses that have sought help during the COVID-19 pandemic can now apply to have one debt forgiven.
Applications are now being accepted to seek forgiveness for Paycheck Protection Program loans.
Under the program’s terms, if the loan was used to pay eight weeks worth of employee salaries, the loan could be 100 percent forgiven.
The Paycheck Protection Program was part of the CARES Act passed by Congress to keep paychecks flowing to workers impacted by the pandemic.
The SBDC is also continuing to offer webinars for business owners dealing with the changing business landscape during the pandemic.
