PIMA — Some residents in Graham and Greenlee counties will see a slight disruption in their daily lives while crews conduct some needed work.

On Monday, June 13, power will be out from 6-10 a.m. in the Cork area, on the east end of Klondyke Road, while Graham County Electric Cooperative crews change out two poles and add another.

Starting Tuesday, June 14, and running through Thursday, June 16, road improvements will force the nighttime closure of U.S. Highway 191 in Clifton, from Chase Creek Street to Burro Alley.

The closure will run from 7 p.m. to 4 a.m. each night, forcing traffic traveling to and from Morenci to re-route.

Traffic to Morenci will be routed from Riverside Drive, through the Copper Verde subdivision, and up Reservation Road. Traffic traveling from Morenci will be routed via Fairbanks Road to Stadium Drive, then turn left on Reservation Road to Copper Verde Road.
