This year’s Gila Valley Live Nativity is scheduled for December 5,6, & 7th at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ Temple grounds and Temple View building, located at 5291 US 70 in Central.
The Gila Valley community is invited to attend this event to see depictions of the birth of Jesus Christ with live actors and animals playing the parts of Joseph, Mary, shepherds, wisemen, goats and a donkey. Live Nativity performances are scheduled at 6:00, 6:45, 7:15, and 7:45 pm.
There will also be Christmas musical performances by local musicians inside the chapel at 6:15, 7:00, 7:45 and 8:30 pm.
The annual Creche Festival will be displayed in the building’s cultural hall with unique nativity set submissions from community individuals. The Creche exhibit will be open from 5:30 until 9:00 pm each night.
