Plan for lane restrictions and delays on the US 60 north of Globe starting June 17

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to prepare for lane restrictions and delays on US 60 north of Globe between milepost 278 and milepost 286 starting Monday, June 17, while crews perform a pavement improvement project. Work is scheduled from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 6 a.m. to noon on Friday. Flagging operations will assist drivers through the work zone.

Crews will complete the milling, chip seal and micro seal in June, followed by a 30-day curing period. Striping and rumble strips will be installed at the end of July. Construction is expected to be complete early August.  Drivers should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.

Schedules are subject to change based on weather and other unforeseen factors.
