PIMA — Eastern Arizona Museum and Historical Society, and the Town of Pima, are teaming again for the town’s Independence Day celebration.

The event in Pima’s Pioneer Park will begin at 7 a.m. with the raising of the flag by the Gila Valley Honor Guard, followed by a live performance of the “Star Spangled Banner.”

Once the national anthem concludes, breakfast will be available. Town and Fire Department volunteers will be serving eggs, pancakes, bacon, fruit and drinks. Breakfast tickets are $5 per plate for adults, $3 for children 10 and younger.

Veterans and active-duty military eat free.

Proceeds will benefit Eastern Arizona Museum’s ongoing renovations.
