Pete Bejarano, a longtime resident of Safford, returned to his heavenly home Monday, April 1, 2024, at his residence with numerous family at his side. He was 85.
Pete was born in Virden, New Mexico to Ramon Peru and Rumalda Burrola Bejarano. He is survived by: his loving wife, Cruzita Bejarano; 5 sisters and 4 brothers; 2 daughters, Molly and Joann of Safford. He has 14 grandkids, 63 great grandkids and 15 great great grandkids.
Pete is preceded in death by: his 2 parents; 3 brothers, Pete, Nick, Danny; his son in law, Albert Carrasco; and his infant son, Pedro.
A Mass of Christian Burial was conducted Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church by Rev. Nicodemus Shaghel. Committal followed in the Safford Cemetery.
A rosary and prayers were offered Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at 9:00 a.m., also at the church.
