GLOBE — Gila County Sheriff’s Office, along with the San Carlos Apache and Globe Police Departments, are searching for a person of interest in the shooting death of a juvenile on New Year’s Day.
Law Enforcement is on the lookout for Deshawn Terrango, 19. He is described as a Native American male; 6 feet, 1 inch tall; weighing 170 pounds. He has black hair and black-colored eyes.
The shooting occurred during the early morning hours of Jan. 1, during a holiday party at a home on the 4500 block of McKinney Avenue in the Central Heights-Midland area of Gila County.
The suspect is believed to have fled the scene on foot, before being picked up by an unknown vehicle.
At 2 p.m. Jan. 1, the juvenile victim succumbed to his injuries.
