Paul Eldon Palmer, son of Melburn Eldon and Lavona Malloy Palmer, was born Sept. 13, 1955, in Safford, Graham, Arizona; the third of five children, and enjoyed a happy childhood.
Paul served a mission in Monterey, Mexico, from 1974-76.
Paul passed on Aug. 9, 2024, in Safford, Graham, Arizona, at the Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center Emergency Room.
He is survived by: his wife of 47 years, Geri; their five children, Christopher Eldon, Benjamin Elias, Nathan Edward, Leah and Logan Joseph;10 grandchildren, Elaina, Emma, Levi, Orrin, Kaleb, Arianna, Tucker, Claire, Ariaella and James; and one great-grandchild, Henley Josephine.
Paul was a wonderful husband, devoted father and grandfather, a hard worker, a born leader, and the rock and foundation of our family. He will be missed more than words can convey.
A visitation will take place Tuesday, Aug. 13, from 5-7 p.m., at the Vining Funeral Home.
A private graveside service will take place at a later date.
