On April 8th there was a Pajama Party Carnival to benefit foster children. At the First United Methodist Church, there were indoor activities including a jumping castle and games. A storyteller was present, as well as a small petting zoo. The petting zoo was the biggest hit, with baby goats and adorable tiny chicks. Children flocked to the tiny baby animals in awe and adoration. The admission to the pajama party was simply a small donation of socks, pajamas, washcloths, stuffed animals, and so on. The donations went to local foster children and to aid in filling Barbara’s Backpacks.
