Nita Sue Lee, or Susie as she was known to most, age 73 of Phoenix, passed away August 15, 2015. Susie was born April 7, 1942 to John and Lena Moore in Hallettsville, Texas.
Susie attended and graduated from Edna High School in Edna, Texas. After high school, she became an entrepreneur working for various businesses and loving every minute of it. She was very involved with the Church of Christ that she attended for many years. Throughout her life she always took a personal interest to being an Artist and Rock Hound.
In 1971, Susie moved from Texas to Arizona. It was there she met and married her love, Frankie Lee. Together, they have 4 children; Michael Lee, Maury Singleton, Shannon Lee Wangeman and Joanie Lee. Twice, on Mother’s Day, Susie won the “Mother of the Year” Award.
Susie is survived by 3 of her children; Michael Lee, Maury Singleton, and Shannon Lee, her brother, Bill Moore; 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frankie; step-daughter Joanie; her parents John and Lena; and brother, John Moore.
A graveside service for Susie will be Friday, August 21, 2015, at 9:00 a.m. in the Safford Cemetery.
