WILLCOX — Valley Telecom is warning customers about another scam making the rounds.
A person claiming to be a Valley Telecom employee called a Willcox resident, and tried to offer a special service. The caller then attempted to gather a significant amount of person financial data from the potential victim.
Valley Telecom officials said the company does not call customers and ask questions related to finances.
Anyone who receives a call of this nature should hang up and contact law enforcement or the Arizona Attorney General’s Office.
