SOLOMON — Safford City Councilman Michael Andazola’s planned meet-and-greet in Solomon on Saturday will now give county residents a chance to speak with multiple decision makers.

Joining Andazola at the event at the American Legion Lopez-Hernandez Post 95 in Solomon, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., will be Safford Mayor Jason Kouts, Safford City Councilman Luke Arbizo — who will conduct an invocation — Graham County Supervisor Paul David, and United Way board member and former Thatcher Mayor Bob Rivera.

Andazola said the plan is to discuss services provided by the city to county residents outside city limits, such as water, the landfill, the airport and the public library.

Mariachi Nuevo Azteca will perform the national anthem, the American Legion bar will be open, and the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary will be selling plates.
