SAFFORD — The Hospital Auxiliary wants you to buy a new purse or two.
What may be inside the purses are anybody’s guess.
The Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center Auxiliary is conducting a purse auction Thursday, May 7, starting at 6:30 p.m., at the Crossroad Baptist Church, 2934 W. 8th St., in Thatcher.
Each purse will contain at least one additional item, but bidders will not know what those items are until the purses are won.
All proceeds from the auction will be used to purchase medical equipment. Since its inception 53 years ago, the Auxiliary has purchased nearly $1 million worth of equipment for the hospital.
