SAFFORD — The Hospital Auxiliary wants you to buy a new purse or two.
What may be inside the purses is anybody’s guess.
The Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center Auxiliary is conducting a purse auction Friday, April 29, starting at 6 p.m., at the American Legion Swift-Murphy Post 32 in Safford.
Each purse will contain at least one additional item, but bidders will not know what those items are until the purses are won. All proceeds from the auction will be used to purchase medical equipment. Since its inception 46 years ago, the Auxiliary has purchased nearly $800,000 worth of equipment for the hospital.
