Meria Majmeto-Ornelas, 53, went to her heavenly home on May 6, 2022. Meria was a faithful woman who loved the Lord, her family, and community. She was the beautiful daughter of Betra & Jiem Majmeto. She was born on March 28, 1969, in Marjuro on the Marshall Islands. She will be sorely missed by those on earth.
Meria is survived by her loving husband, Victor Ornelas, her son Anthony (Monica) Ornelas, daughter Isabella and many loving relatives.
A viewing will be held at McDougal’s Caldwell Chapel, in Safford, AZ, on Thursday, May 26 from 5- 7:00 p.m. with the Recitation of The Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 27 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Interment will be held at the Safford Cemetery.
