SAFFORD — The Gila Valley Ministerial Association is celebrating Mardi Gras, Creole style.
Fat Tuesday will be celebrated as a fund-raiser for Samaritan Home Tuesday, Feb. 13 at Manor 415.
“We’re going to have music, we’re going to dinner and dancing, and it is a lot of fun,” said Sue Ciacimino, director of Samaritan Home.
There will also be a silent auction and a raffle for a rifle. Music will be presented by the band Desert Thunder.
Tickets are $50 and doors open at 6 p.m.
All proceeds benefit Samaritan Home, a respite and information center for the area’s homeless population.
