A Safford resident called police to report a bag of personal items that was left inside their front door. The reporting party told police that they originally thought that one of their kids left the bag there, but upon examination, they found some miscellaneous items including two plastic bottles of marijuana and a prescription bottle with a man’s name on it. They recognized the name on the bottle as a man that used to work for them.
In addition to the bag being left inside their front door, the reporting party said that a bicycle was missing. They supplied authorities with video footage that showed the suspect enter their property at approximately 11:30 pm. The video showed the man walk up to the door of the residence and open it while carrying the bag that was left inside. He was inside the residence for a brief period of time, then walked out without any items in his hands. The video did not show the man with the missing bicycle. The report did not include whether the police had made contact with the suspect.
