Louie M. Quiroz, of Safford, entered into rest Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at the Banner University Medical Center in Tucson, with his family surrounding him. He was 70.
Louie was born in Safford, Arizona, on January 29, 1953, to Louis and Nellie Ortiz Quiroz. He married Odelia “Dee” Clark on August 16, 1969, at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Solomon. Louie worked as a truck driver for Phelps Dodge, Morris Sand and Gravel and Vista Recycling.
Louie is survived by: his wife, Dee; his three sons, Louis Daniel Quiroz, Steven Anthony Quiroz and Michael James Quiroz; his eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Louie’s Life will be conducted Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at 9:00 a.m., at The River Community Church in Safford by Pastor David Chapman. Concluding services will follow in the Safford Cemetery.
