SAFFORD — The Safford Lions Club and Eastern Arizona College announced the sixth annual Fun Run and Ride for Mental Health Awareness will return to Discovery Park on Saturday, Oct. 25.
Participants have the option to run a 5K or 10K, or take part in a BMX bike ride.
All participants who pre-register will receive a T-shirt, and medals will be awarded to the top three BMX finishers, as well as the top three male and female finishers in both the 5K and 10K.
Cost is $30 per person, children 11 and under are free with paid adult. Click here to pre-register.
Check-in is at 7 a.m., the BMX ride starts at 7:30 a.m., and the 5K and 10K get underway at 8 a.m.
