Linda Lou Godfrey passed away peacefully on April 5, 2023, she was 79 years old. She was born on August 29, 1943, in Safford, AZ and was a lifelong resident of the Gila Valley.
Linda was the oldest of four children born to Alvin & Lorrine Eubanks, and is survived by her brother Tharrel (Glenna) Eubanks, and her sisters Ann (Leonard) Elmer and Jody (Mitch) O’Rourke.
She was an accomplished seamstress and loved to do cross-stitch and crocheting but her favorite hobby was camping & fishing with her husband Ben and her only child Butch.
From this small family, Linda was blessed with 5 granddaughters and eleven great-grandchildren with two on the way.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents Lorrine Allred Eubanks & Alvin Thomas Eubanks, her husband Ben, and her son Butch.
A Visitation will be held on Monday, April 17, 2023 beginning at 10:00 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at the McDougal’s Caldwell Funeral Chapel. Interment will take place immediately following the services in the Pima Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association through their website.
