SAFFORD — City of Safford Streets Department is installing new crosswalk signs across 8th Avenue at Main Street, between City Hall and the Graham County Courthouse.
The signs will be lighted and solar powered.
The roadways will remain open during installation.
In addition, the city announced the Utilities Department’s Electric Division will be working in the area of Hollywood Road and U.S. Highway 70, from Feb. 10-13.
Work will take place throughout the day, with crews actively improving infrastructure in the area.
There will be no road closures affiliated with the improvements; however, motorists are asked to drive with caution in the area and follow all traffic control signage.
