SAFFORD — The Safford City-Graham County Library is seeking an Arizona artist (or team of artists) to create a mural on the exterior north wall of the Safford City-Graham County Library, located at 808 S. 7th Ave.
The mural will face 8th Street and be visible from the intersection of 8th Street and 8th Avenue.
This project is an exciting opportunity to highlight a space that serves as a community hub for learning and engagement, while turning the library into an artistic landmark.
The library invites local and Arizona artists to submit proposals that reflect the role of the library in the community, celebrates books and knowledge, and fosters community pride. Preference shall be given to local artists.
