SAFFORD — Expectant and new parents can get some much needed information Friday at the Safford City-Graham County Library

The library is hosting the Community Baby Shower in the programming room.

“We have Early Head Start coming in, the Health Department brings a lot of great resources just for young children and their care-givers and families,” said Library Director Victoria Silva.

More than a dozen vendors will be there to offer a number of hands-on demonstrations, including how to change both cloth and disposable diapers, how to know if your baby is getting enough to eat, proper bottle- and breast-feeding and more.

There will also be give-aways, games and drawings for door prizes. The Community Baby Shower will take place Friday, April 14, from 9 a.m. to noon and is free to attend.

Sponsors include the library and First Things First.
